Donate: Ksh 2,500 – Help a Special Child Like David Learn a Lifelong Skill
“When David first joined TAFI, he wouldn’t speak or look anyone in the eye. Today, he smiles with pride every time he finishes a candle — a symbol of the light he’s found inside himself.”
David, a 12-year-old boy on the autism spectrum, once lived in silence and fear. Social interaction overwhelmed him, and school felt like a punishment. But everything changed when he joined our vocational training program — especially the candle-making classes.
In his first few weeks, David couldn’t follow instructions. But with patience, routine, and a warm, understanding environment, something remarkable happened. He dipped his first wick into wax. Then another. And another. The warmth of the candles seemed to bring warmth into his own heart. That day, he said his first full sentence at school:
“I made this.”
Today, David is thriving. His candle-making skills are not just therapeutic — they are empowering. They’ve given him structure, creativity, and purpose. More importantly, they’ve given him confidence.
But David is just one of many children who need access to this kind of hands-on, life-changing training.
With Ksh 2,500, you can sponsor:
A full month of candle-making materials (wax, wicks, dyes)
Aprons and gloves for safety

💡 Goal: Raise Ksh 50,000 to fund 20 children like David for the next quarter.
